Naturalnibilki

From Etsy to a Bulgarian store

Naturalnibilki 2026 WooCommerce
THE PROBLEM

Customers in Bulgaria, a shop only on Etsy.

A seller of herbs and natural products with buyers at home but no store of his own in Bulgaria. Everything ran through Etsy, a platform built for a different market and a different language.

WHAT WAS WRONG

Two problems

No store in his own market

Bulgarian customers had nowhere to buy directly. No local shop, no page explaining what each herb is for and how to use it, nothing for Google to show.

Cheap products, expensive shipping

Herbs sell for a few euros. When delivery costs more than the product, the order never happens. The store needed a way to fill the cart.

WHAT I BUILT

The work

01
WEEK 1

Importing from Etsy

110 products brought over from an Etsy export file, then renamed and recategorised for Bulgarian customers.

WEEK 1

Importing from Etsy

WEEKS 1 TO 2

A simpler menu

Herbs are hard to sort by name alone. Categories follow what customers look for, so a product is found without digging.

WEEKS 2 TO 3

A design that fits the product

A green, natural palette instead of a generic store template, and product pages that say what each herb is for and how to use it.

WEEK 3

An upsell on every product page

A custom upsell built into the product page, so customers add related products before they reach the cart.

WEEK 4

Labels and launch

Econt and Speedy shipping labels generated automatically, cash on delivery set up, tested and launched.

THE RESULT

What changed

A Bulgarian store instead of only an Etsy shop
110 products imported, renamed and recategorised
Econt and Speedy labels created without manual work
Cash on delivery at checkout
A custom upsell on every product page
Four weeks from start to launch
WORTH KNOWING

Notes

Why not stay on Etsy?

Etsy is built for buyers abroad. His customers are in Bulgaria, searching in Bulgarian and expecting Econt, Speedy and cash on delivery.

Why put the upsell on the product page?

With low-price products, cart value decides whether an order makes sense. The product page is where the customer is already deciding, so that is where the next product is offered.

Why only cash on delivery?

It was the right start for this store. Card payments can be added later without rebuilding anything.
